Google has acquired New Mexico-based drone maker Titan Aerospace, the company said on Monday.
The Mountain View tech giant did not say how much it paid for the start-up, which specializes in building drones capable of staying in sky for years on end.

There's a flight planned by a prototype (not Google financed in any way, as far as I know) to fly around the earth using solar energy. This wouldn't be a drone, but a manned aircraft.
It does concern me about drones flying about in the air, and the potential to hit either another aircraft or wildlife.
