The Register is reporting that there was a short (a few minutes) outage of most Google services starting at 4:37pm Pacific Time (US) today. All services restored within several minutes.
The amazing part is that GoSquared saw a 40% drop in worldwide Internet traffic in that time frame!
Truly mind boggling how much Google is taken for granted.
