The email sent to Blogger admins today states that the company’s Content Policy will be updated on June 30 to “strictly prohibit” the monetization of all adult content. ”After June 30th 2013, we will be enforcing this policy and will remove blogs which are adult in nature and are displaying advertisements to adult websites,” the email reads.Google Updates Blogger Policy: Monetization of Adult Content Is Not Permitted [thenextweb.com]

That could be quite significant. I notice a lot of blogs that aren't really adult in nature have nonetheless been marked by their owners as such, presumably because they sometimes deal with topics that are a little bit racy and the owners want to stay on the safe side. TOS means I can't give you a good example, but what I'm talking about is very mild indeed, blogs I came across when I was looking up another topic entirely. These people will be quite alienated by this message, and will probably end up moving to another platform.
