Not sure how common iGoogle is in general, however for me and many others I know personally, iGoogle is a great service and I find it hard to belive that Google will be pulling-the-plug this time next year.
I wouldn't mind so much if it was a Chrome exclusive, as that is my browser-of-choice these days, but to completely kill it off seems such a shame - it's a great default page for me (googlemail/weather/count-downs/calendar/to-do lists and a few rss feeds).
Does anyone know why Google are doing this? Are there any viable alternative?
