Google reportedly has also been interested in selling individual pages of text. A spokesman for the Internet search giant, Nathan Tyler, said Thursday, that Google "is exploring new access models to help authors and publishers sell more books online but we don't have anything to announce."
That was in a story in the SFGate/ SF Chronicle [sfgate.com] where Amazon announced that they would begin selling individual pages and perhaps complete access to books, with royalties flowing back to the authors. Google apparently is exploring doing the same.
Wouldn't that change the nature of what Google does?
