Forbes Mag says something big is happening on Tues.

[blogs.forbes.com...]

so what to WebmasterWorld folks think they are up to?

- my bet - something to do with ip6.

What's your guess?

perhaps this is discussed elsewhere - if so, please splice this in.

Google relaunches a hibrid of Orkut and Buzz

And calls it Buzzkut.

Google buys MySpace and renames it MyFace.

Google starts selling AdWords advertising on Google Maps and Earth where, if you are a barber, you can buy an add for your building so it is tagged on the map with a banner that says something like "Get a Free Haircut at Matt's Fast Cutts"

Google launches "Classic GOOGLE" where things just go back to the way they were before New and Improved Google changed the world and users get to decide which brand they want...

Panda 2.2 implemented
With Jack Black as the spokesman?

More likely: Skynet Goes Live (only a few weeks late...)

Today it looks like Forbes is saying Tuesday is about Google's financing of $ 280 million in SolarCity for solar panels on homes.

Nice way to get a 30% tax investment credit.

Don't get me wrong, distributed solar power needs a boost whatever way it can get. Hooray!

Is this it - or is there more coming?

Panda 2.2 too small for this.

+1 too early for it: Twitter for example had only about 1300 or so +1, Google around 2k (Google shows them sometimes when I search)
Has to be a new feature that Google wants to spin to the full press ;). Full travel integration?

chewy, if Amit Singhal is there it must be search related.

Yep, just saw that on CNET and thought the same thing.

Whatever it is, it seems big - live coverage on CNET starting 9 AM PDT.

At 9AM PDT, google will demonstrate its ability to control the television-viewing habits of a substantial sector of the population.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Related to mobile search it seems [youtube.com...]

edit: looks like they made a local search for mobile with icons etc.

really interested in how GA will show voice search and especially instant pages.

come on Amit - let's drill down beyond the "toy" value of these cool google tricks.
