Google Checkout neglects Canada

I want to sign up for Google Checkout, as a merchant.

But the service is only available to folks in the USA or UK.

I'm in Canada.

Why can't I use Google Checkout? It's not like everything's going to be bounced around in multiple currencies.

Really Google. Come on. Get on it.

It seems odd that they don't have an option for Canada.

yeah, isn't it? esp since Canada is like a hybrid of USA and UK, with all the best qualities of each.

I don't know if there are language options available in G checkout, perhaps because French is an official language of Canada that may have the kind of overhead G is wanting to avoid just now? Purely a guess.
