I saw a demo of augmented reality a while back, and I was quite impressed.

It's a shame the infrasturcture is still a little weak and incapable of handling all the potential.

...at least 90% of the people are happy to share their information with everyone, and 10% are violently opposed to doing so, and we want to respect both groups.

Only 10% opposed? I'm surprised that figure is not higher. Perhaps most folks are sleepwalking into it.
