There was an option to disable Google Buzz. Luckily I read it before I clicked "This will disable Google Buzz integration in Gmail and delete your Google profile and Buzz posts. It will also disconnect any connected sites and unfollow you from anyone you are following."

<sarcasm>Now, where is the problem? Every "lost" Google profile is a good profile.</sarcasm>

But seriously, I wonder what has changed over the past year or so that the folks in MV have become (a) more aggressive in the market, against players that once were their partners, and I am not referring to Adsense publishers, but, for example, to the mobile phone industry, (b) product development seems to be -like once Microsoft- more focused on product betas, marketing buzz and bug fixes, and (c) their product marketing has become entirely lame (especially considering the problems that Buzz has already brought for Google)?

WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON? WHERE IS THE CAPTAIN?

He is at the wheel.

1912. A masterpiece. The biggest ship on Earth. Unsinkable.

The captain? Eric "Privacy" Schmidt.
