I think this is awesome! Imagine what this does for libraries and small book chains. Space is not even required for storing books.

Wow. So many small publishers that rely on selling out-of-print classics will be looking for new lines of work.

Of course a lot depends on how much that machine costs. Reuters mentions $75,000, so I don't expect many will take it up yet. And by the time the cost comes down, we might all have cheap ebook readers already.

This is a brilliant idea. We can all now publish online and in print...it will have an impact on tradional publishers and bookshops though.
