This story gets crazier and more full of rumor and innuendo as time goes by. I don't want to post any disinformation, but it's clear that some very big tech power blocks are getting all twisted up on this issue. Lot's of fodder for conspiracy theories, too.

I suppose companies have a right to protect their own interests. Usually that means the consumer gets the short end of the stick.
