What if Google decides to step into real estates market? MLS will die, won't it?

They already have a housing search as part of Google Base [base.google.com]. Don't know much about it or how much it's used.

google has played around with adding data from google base into the universal serp for real estate related keywords.

Yeah, I first noticed it the other day in the one box position.

They could always buy Craigslist and cover the rentals, home-furnishings markets, and car-to-put-in-the-garage markets at the same time :-)
