i am a malaysian and i have an account on www.etrade.com. How do i bid on google ipo? i wonder etrade.com would accept my order?
and when do you people estimate that google ipo will be released?
can i make pre-order?

would someone please mail me when google ipo is announced to be released soon?

Hi Lucky star. I am malaysian too. google will go IPO around april 2004. Heard that one of the way to buy IPO share is to have account with Morgan Stanley. but not sure how reliable is the source.

The two investment banks leading the IPO are Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs Group.

The rest of the underwriters are supposed to be Citigroup, Credit Suisse First Boston, J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., Thomas Weisel Partners and WR Hambrecht and Co. Although I'm sure more will be announced in due course.

Agree - only spend what you want to lose guys - can't see this one being anymore than an earner for the founders and a few slect parties.

I might pick some up when they drop to a few cents each?

but they dont accept non americans
any non americans who are interested in google ipo?

It really doesn't have to do with American vs non-American. I would love to get a piece of the IPO and doubt that I will be able to.

Usually investment banks reserve IPO for big clients, usually with $250,000 or more in investment accounts.
