Google's announcement of probably going public in 2004 via an online auction is obviously on of the most important news here in Germany.

Today there is an article about Google [sueddeutsche.de] on the front page of the biggest newspaper in Germany, Süddeutsche Zeitung. And they even used the term "search engine optimizers" in it!

In the business section of the same newspaper there is another article about Google's IPO, quoting Danny Sullivan and mentioning searchenginewatch.com.

Yah, even reported on the RTL night news yesterday. German media like hypes. Wait until you see search quality complains on RTL. German media like to destroy successfull things 'n people in public too ...
