" "We will continue to partner with Overture, and are happy with that partnership," Redetzki said."

Should we all read into that?

For now.

read that they're working on their own PPC thing and it will take a little bit longer than the search engine. They'd be stupid not to. There's a patent involved (Google is being sued) but MSFT has plenty of money to fight it...eventually they'll settle for 10% of the profits they made.

This is good and this is bad as well. I checked the serps on the beta [beta.search.msn.com...] and I"m not in there. I am in the regular search now however thanks to an old inktomi submission. Anyone else having this problem? Any way to prepare for the switch pre-july?

Confused. It looks to me that MSN is running results very simular to Yahoo. Plus, the [beta.search.msn.com...] is also running the same less any sponsered results.

So in July we'll see a new engine much different than all the above. Would this be correct guess?

Don't believe what MSN said to the press as is.
They will have new ppc layout but th eresults will still come from Inktomi, since they do not have their search engine yet.

It has never tested any major algo with the beta yet.
They have been playing with the new ad layout, though.

So, You will see new look in July but not the results.
