Still no PR for site

I noticed that Google has hit my site a few times reading the robots.txt file and still I have not gotten a PR, it shows PR 0.

Do you know why it is showing as PR 0 even though I got quite a few links on yahoo, msn and google?

The website in question is www.gnuman.com.

You see PR on the toolbar which is only updated once every few months. The real-time pr is not visible anywhere.

gnuman, welcome to WW. As stated it takes a while for PR to show on the toolbar.
