It may sound a stupid question. We do not want residents of a specific country to visit our web site without having any problems in search engines. Is this possible?

This is usually possible, unless you want to ban people from the US. Robots.txt doesn't really help though, I'd suggest searching for [geolocation] in your favourite search engine.

Actually, US is the only country that we want to get visitors from. We do not any visitors from the rest of the world.

I know this is kind of strange in this information age, however we have some legitimate reasons.
