I have set up basic .htaccess directory but am wondering whether using .htacess I am able to change something that appears on the visitors Login Box.

I have added a line:

AuthName "Secure Directory"

which, when the login box appears, in IE6 it displays this as the realm. However, I would like to change the text that appears next to the word Site on the login box. Can this be done?

eg.

Presently I get at login:
Site: www.mydomain.com
Realm: Secure Directory
Then the login boxes.

I wish to add a name where www.mydomain.com appears!

leer,

Welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com]!

With basic Apache Authentication, what you see is what you get, I'm afraid.
