I have been experiencing an error while trying to install apache 2.01. I have uploaded all files to the server, but while running the configuration script, I get the following message:

configure: error: cannot run /bin/sh build/config.sub

If i try just to manually run config.sub, I get the following messages:

: command not found
: command not found
: command not found
: command not found

: command not found

: command not found
'uild/config.sub: line 89: syntax error near unexpected token `in
'uild/config.sub: line 89: ` case $# in

I am sorry, I am not really good with linux. All my previous experience has been on Windows. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry - we aren't that deep into the geek end of things here - configuration is about as far as we go.

Any idea who or where I could find the answer to my question?
