Okay a few weeks back I managed to get my apache server live and all was well. This weekend after a small internet nightmare I find myself connected to the web via a router, rather than the adsl modem I was previously using.
Now it seems when I enter my IP I arrive to my router, rather than my apache server.
In the past I would simple type in my IP and voila, I was on my server. Apache listened to port 80.
So it seems that my router has hijacked port 80.
Any ideas on what I need to do to sort this out?
I have a usr sureconnect 9300.
Sounds like what you need is port forwarding
Thanks marcs, I figured that it may be something like that, problem is that there are so many options on the control panel that it is anything but straight forward.
For example:
•LAN Setup •DHCP •DHCP Relay •DNS Relay •Routing Setup •Spanning Tree
are just some of the options at my disposal...
