I don't understand this... Is there somthing I am missing? I put my web server up, and sometimes It will stay up for days, and than it will not work anymore, I change my ip address for my router, and it works again, but sometimes it only works for like 5 times I go to it, and than it stops working.

Is there somthing in the configuration I need to fix?

Someone please help me...

Thanks, Mark

Is there anything in your error logs or system logs? Are you running Linux? One possiblity is that your network IP is changing and in your httpd.conf you have it set to listen on a specific IP. You can fix this by making this change: Listen 80 and <VirtualHost *>. Unless they're already that way. When it goes down can you access the internet from your server machine? Can you access your site from your server machine using 127.0.0.1 or localhost? Can you access your site from another machine in you network using its network address?

It's not doing it right now, but I will try to connect to it as you say when it goes down again...

Error log...

[Thu Dec 25 20:23:15 2003] [notice] Child 2372: Exit event signaled. Child process is ending.

[Thu Dec 25 20:23:16 2003] [notice] Child 2372: Released the start mutex
[Thu Dec 25 20:23:16 2003] [notice] Child 4204: Acquired the start mutex.
[Thu Dec 25 20:23:16 2003] [notice] Child 4204: Starting 250 worker threads.
[Thu Dec 25 20:23:17 2003] [notice] Child 2372: Waiting for 250 worker threads to exit.
[Thu Dec 25 20:23:17 2003] [notice] Child 2372: All worker threads have exited.
[Thu Dec 25 20:23:17 2003] [notice] Child 2372: Child process is exiting

In the http.conf I just have the Line Listen 80
no ip's specified...

Thanks, Mark
