I have a couple of question that I would really like you, knowledgeable people, to point me to the right direction for the answer.
First of all I am on a cobalt with shell access. Then the questions.
all the sites hosted on my server will have a folder for their stats somewhere. I want to password protect this folder. How do I do it? Where do I put the command in the config file? Which config file to use(still got 3)? How and where do I put the password for each site? Will people be able to use each other password (we don't want that do we :)) I want to build a couple of php directories. how to use the mod_rewrite to create a static url? Should I put the server config somwhere specific? how to make it easy to add or remove sites for the above two tasks. Thanks for your help.
