Hi everybody.
Can I please call on your expertise again?

I have a small problem regarding a person using a static IP which he is using to troll an intimidate on my forum.
I would like to set up a separate html page with a message telling the troll that he will not be fed.

I am thinking that I might be able to use htaccess to redirect his IP straight to the Troll.html page but as a complete novice I don't know where to start and I would appreciate any help or suggestions you could give.

Thanks

Fizz

Hi Fizzy,

The first place to start is with a search of WebmasterWorld, which turned up this thread from earlier this year:

[webmasterworld.com...]

I think that should help with your problem.

Note that to some trolls, having "a special page" will actually be a form of gratification. Also, don't give away how you are detecting him - it'll just make it easier for him to 'hack' back in.

The best approach may simply be to give him a page that says there was an unspecified error, or a simple "403-Access" denied page.
