Hi,

My hosted server has Apache 2.0.40, but it does not seem to have apxs. Is this possible? And how can I fix it?

Thanks a lot for any help.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld, czamora.

For some of the support scripts like apxs [httpd.apache.org] (which are written in Perl) the Perl 5 interpreter is required. However, Perl 5 is also an OPTIONAL requirement [httpd.apache.org]. The links provided should get you over the hump.

I'm afraid that is not the problem. There is simply no apxs* file on my whole server! How can I get it?
