monitoring apache virtual hosts

Greetings,

I'm not sure if such a module/tool exists, but we have an apache 1.3.31 server with many IP based and name based virtual hosts. (300+).

I'm trying to find an efficient way to keep track of the resources each virtual host is using, like cpu/memory/bandwidth etc.

At the moment I'm using server-status and some shell scripting. :@

If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
