how to install and confingure apache

l like to know how to install apache server in linux.

can any one help me with step by step

dude dont be lazy - i too dont know but as they say there's always a manual - just do some reading - no shortcuts for both of this - or maybe you're best bet would be phpgeek.com
it has apache, perl & php included into 1 package.
If u want to install a linux box which is like a windows installer ( next - next - next finito ) - then Mandrake would be the one.

again - dont be lazy :)
