Hey Guys,

This is a completely new area for me but below is what i am looking to achieve and i believe this can be done with .htaccess files.

I want to keep my web addresses neat so they look like the following

[yourdomain.com...]

I dont want the user to see any .php or .html endings at all.

How to i go about defining this.

Hope i make some sense.

Thanks

There's a lot to consider when getting started doing this. For an introduction, see the documents cited in our forum charter [webmasterworld.com] and the tutorials in the Apache forum section of the WebmasterWorld library [webmasterworld.com].

For information more specific to your application, try a search on WebmasterWorld for "rewriterule static dynamic URL [google.com]".
