Guys,

Does a mod_rewrite software exist?

I mean a tool which automatically (or almost) would help you rewrite uls?

A search for "mod_rewrite generator" or "htaccess generator" will turn up several examples. The generalized nature of these tools means that they often produce horribly-inefficient code, sometimes with subtle errors. But if you don't care to learn how to write the code yourself, they might do.

I'd recommend a day spent with the documents cited in our forum charter [webmasterworld.com] and the tutorials in the Apache forum section of the WebmasterWorld library [webmasterworld.com] as a better investment of your time. Otherwise, you'll likely end up with problems.

Thanks for the advice, I will follow your suggestion.
I'm not very proficient in any programming stuff but I guess that you are right and this is a good investment of my time.
