Hi,

I have pages that do not end in any extensions. For example, my pages look like this:

www.example.com/articles/keyword1-keyword2

instead of

www.example.com/articles/keyword1-keyword2.html

Does it matter if don't have an html extension after the pages? All pages validate and are very search engine friendly as it is, but I am wondering if adding an extension will have an impact?

Does anyone have any idea how to simply append a (.html) after urls that are in this format:

www.example.com/articles/keyword1-keyword2

to look like:

www.example.com/articles/keyword1-keyword2.html

What sort of "impact" would you be looking for? If the pages are indexed and you changed the URLs, then the impact would be negative. If they are unindexed for some reason, it is very unlikely that adding an extension will help.
