apache2 installation problem

Hi! everyone i have installed apache 2.0.54 on windows 2k but not installed correctly as i m getting error as follows:

"(OS 10022)An invalid argument was supplied. : make_sock: unable to listen for connections on addr
s 127.0.0.1:8080 no listening sockets available, shutting down, Unable to open logs"

plz help me as i dont know much about apache

Sounds to me sorta firewall interfering!? Did u have a firewall running while installing Apache? Maybe worth a try to disable it as long as Apache installs

It's also possible that Windows IIS service is already running and bound to port 80. Try disabling the IIS service and restarting Apache.
