AddDescription

Help required with spaces in names

Hello,

I am wanting to use the AddDescription directive in htaccess to document some files in a directory, however some sub-directories and files have spaces, commas and slashes in the names.

The AddDescription directive doesn't work on these names, and I've tried quite a few options.

Does anyone have any experience with this, and know how to put descriptions on files & folders with non-alphanumeric characters in the names?

Have you tried putting the path in quotes?

If this doesn't work, it may just be time to clean up those filenames. :(
