Is there something I can put in the .htaccess file that will turn on cookie logging?
Or perhaps some other workaround...my web analysis software (Mach 5) needs cookie logging turned on to produce certain reports....
I've asked my hosting company for help but...sometimes they aren't so swift....

Cookietracking in mod_usertrack [httpd.apache.org]?
I don't know, I've never used it...

Thanks for the response.
Basically my server log files don't include cookie data...and this prevents me from using such reports as repeat visitors in Mach5....about five reports aren't available because the logs don't include that info....my hosting company tells me they "can't turn that on"...I suspect that more translates as "won't turn it on" since it seems obvious there must be a way to do it...but that's a response that comes from the administrator to the tech who then isn't told why...just "No"......
I've also asked for help from Mach5 but no response yet...probably won't hear until Monday...
I don't know enough about it to understand what to ask the hosting company or if I should just be hosting elsewhere....I've also read that one can possibly do it with an htaccess command...a file I have access to...
Beyond that I can't find any specific documentation except that page you refer to....
