i'm in the process of learning how to improve the design on an osCommerce setup and decided to do it locally. i've installed xampp and got through all the good stuff of finally having an apache server, mySQL database, php. etc..... all set up. Everything works. I've gone throught the wizard and go the cart running but how do I set permissions on some config.php files that i need to change. I normally use smartftp for this with my live site but this setup is locally. How do I setup permissions using windows xp?

In windows you don't need to set permissions.
All file in your web server are 777 until you check the "read only" box in the properties.
