Welcome to WebmasterWorld, penny2524.

Could you describe your problem a little more? By authentication, do you mean how do you connect to a MySQL database through a scripting program once you have everything installed and operational?

Hi Coopster ,

I used to be able to use Apache 1.3.31 with Mysql authentication perfectly.

But i have some necessary to move to Apache 2.0.54 , after that i can't do the authentication.

What i mean is that when people want to surf the website , they have to be in my database to be able to surf.

I used to see this website and get the mod_auth_mysql.so but seem that it didn't work yet.

[modauthmysql.sourceforge.net...]

Anyway , if you used to do this please advise.

Best Regards,
