Rewritecond question

The CMS 'Textpattern' seems to rely on the following rules in .htacces they however result in an internal server error.

The purpose is to have clean URL's.

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f [OR]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d
RewriteRule ^(.+) – [PT,L]

RewriteRule ^(.*) index.php

Any advice?

Please post the relevant contents of your server error log -- Your error log will often tell you what is causing 500 Server Errors.

Well it looks like there was a type in the orig code, not in the one pasted here though.

This sorta stuff makes it bit hard to spot, thx for the help!
