AWstats for Raq4 - how to grant access to people other than Raq admin

i need to grant access to AWStats of Virtual Sites hosted on my Cobalt Raq4 to people other than Vsite admin.
It appears that the only way to do so is to give the username and password of a Vsite administrator.

i'd like to have all Vsite Users (and not just the Vsite admin) being able to access AWStats by using their own password.

how can i do that? i've no clue how to modify AWStats htaccess which actually looks like this:

#Access file
order allow,deny
allow from all
require group site1
Authname WebStats
Authtype Basic
AuthAuthoritative off
