I wanted to know whether Apache Server source code is available for 64-bit itanium platforms.
IF yes, then from where can I get the source code?

Welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com], Harish.

The source code is, well, source code - so not compiled for any particular platform. Assuming you have a compiler, you can build a version for your particular processor. You can download it here:

[httpd.apache.org...]

Agreed. I compiled the source code on Itanium Windows (Win 2003 Server) and got a host of Compiler Warnings....and Apache wouldn't start as well.
So was wondering if the code can really work on Itanium. Or is it that it needs to be ported and only then it can be used?

Harish,

Welcome to WebmasterWorld!

This search [google.com] leads me to believe that Apache can be compiled for the Itanium. What I read in a few of those search results is all I know about it, though.
