.htaccess and Case sensitive urls

Would a 301 work?

I seem to get a lot of requests for mydomain.com/thispage.htm when the page is actually mydomain.com/ThisPage.htm

I am unsure why I get these errors.

If I do a 301 from thispage.htm to ThisPage.htm would that work and importantly would it cause any problems with some robots by causing a loop of some kind.

As there are many pages like that is there a simpler way than doing hundreds more 301's?

I've been getting a lot of the same type of requests from the MSN URL Control Agent.

I've contacted the MSN Bot group to see if there is a glitch in it's crawling behavior, but they have not replied yet.

Anyone else seeing this?
