Can you prevent someone from meta refreshing to your site?

what does it matter anynhow. If they rank instead of you the visitor still goes to your site.

Thanks for the definitive answer Mr. Morgan.

As to why it would matter, there are a bunch of threads around about hijacking google listings based on meta refresh.

This may sound dumb. ( Early January amnesia? )

What are the best ways to see if somebody is meta-refreshing to your site in an abusive way?

Please indicate exactly what I need to search for on the engines, or whatever else to do.

I just want to set my mind at rest. Thanks in advance - Larry
