Apache on Windows XP causing retard issues with XP GUI

I have Apache 2.0.52 installed and the GUI is just completely acting like a retard on crack. If I click on a window in the task bar it just blinks instead of maximzing it like it does when Apche ISN'T running.

When I kill Apache the GUI runs fine. Problem is I WANT to run Apache AND not deal with retarded GUI distortions. What is causing this and how do I fix it?

I'm not sure. I would take a few minutes to do a complete uninstall/reboot/reinstall to see if that fixes any issues.

What if virtual memory is turned off? I do have a freaking GB.

Is it just the Apache Monitor that is doing this? You don't have to run it as everything it does is accessable via other means (Services, manually editing the conf files). Just close the app and remove the shortcut in your Startup directory of the Start menu and you'll be golden.

I just finished setting up 2.0.52 on XP Pro since 2003 didn't see my sound card and after the usual aggrivations of getting binaries for mod_perl and mod_ssl it runs smoothly.
