I am new to apache webserver, and installed it to host the GDS (Global Data System). A server that saves player progress for a quake2 mod.
The hosting of normal html files is not an issue, but the executing of scripts is.
Within my root\orbit\ dir there are some exe files that need to be executed in order for people to acces their personal stats and buy items in what we call 'the armory'
kotsstats.exe kotspurchase.exe etc.
The main page from where these scripted links are is:
[q2gds.kingoftheserver.com...]
The dns for q2dms.kingoftheserver.com points to my ip.
I am using apache 2.0.51 on windows 2000
I did search the forum but did not find anything that helped me, the help files also made me spend hours without result.
If this is a very noobish question I apoligise, but I really need this to work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
