Hi,
What FTP clients do you use to view and edit .htaccess and .htpasswd files on Apache server?
I only know enter product here has this feature (can't put their url, especially since they're my partners) but does anybody know who else?

[edit reason] Nothing wrong with this topic as long as it's not "steered" to discuss one product [/edit]

I use notepad since they are text files. Then upload them as ASCII. Others members may know more or have a better way of handling them.

Well, I also use notepad to write or edit them, still once uploaded to the server, tey were "invisible" for most of the FTP clients so I was unable to check the contents and had to store a copy of each .htaccess on my hdd in order to make the changes and upload again.
Being able to see them in the remote directories helps a lot, since I can access them whenever I want and edit if need be.

CuteFTP can display/edit .htaccess or .htpasswd files quite handily. By default, it doesn't display "system files" (.htxxxxxx) if the server is setup to hide them, but can be configured to do so. It's file editor/viewer uses Notepad by default but can be configured to use any editor.

I do my edits locally and upload them though. For sites that I maintain, they are always mirrored locally. Having that redundancy has "saved my bacon" more than once!
