I have installed xampp on windows xp pro everything worked fine untill I changed my internet provider.. Before I was connected.. via ethernet cable to my ethernet card now I'm connected via USB.. with cable modem..
after that change I cannot connect with apache..
IE says... it can't find local host.
mozilla.... connection is refused..

I reinstalled xampp but it didn't help..

any ideas how to solve this?.. thanks!

mariuszn3,

Well, it may be that the USB connection is not recognized by Apache. Apache expects a TCP/IP connection to port 80, and it's not likely that your USB connection appears that way. I've never played with a USB-connected internet connection, so that's all I can think of.
