Hello,

I'm new in the use of Apache. I installed on a Windows XP machine an Apache 1.3.31 Web Server for development. I learn actually PHP. Everything was Ok but till now, during the Windows start I get the message License Expired! and it comes from my installed Apache Server. I shutdowned the Server and I started it again and I get the same error. It is required to have an Apache License? I thought it was free! How can I extend this license?

Best Regards

It does not have any license, actually it is free, the message you got is either from a server sided scripting language which requires licensing, or from a third party program which you did not noticed.

Shut down the Apache service, and start it from the command line without any command-line parameters, so you can see the message in the console window, that might give more explanation on the situation.
