Windows OS authentication to an Apache Web Server

Hi,

What is the easiest way to authenticate a Windows XP user to an Apache Web Server running on the Sun Solaris OS.

The Apache WebServer will be interacting with an Oracle9iAS database that is also on Sun Solaris.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
