(hope this is the right forum!)
A potential SEO client has a site done in Enhydra. I know very little about this, and I did a site search here for enhydra and found nothing - not a good sign.

I'm wondering if they should convert their site to something like cold fusion? Or is it possible to get decent rankings in Google in this form? If so, should I do a mod_rewrite to get rid of the long urls that are filled with multiple variables? And anything I may be missing. If anyone can point me in the right direction to get started, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

it seems to be an open source application server targeted towards ecomm. I don't think that it would specifically hamper your ability to get listings.

I am on their site reading through it. I would take a look at the site itself from a spider's perspective and see if there are any of the standard pitfalls. Then I would look into whether those are pitfalls of the server or just how it is coded.

I have just read quickly through a bunch of their site so I am far from expert. ;)

Thanks, I never thought about going to their site. Good idea, I'll check it out. Ya, I think the urls might be a problem. Real long and ugly, lots of variables.
