uninstall apache

please help
apparently, I downloaded apache but then for some reason I deleted the programme. Did I delete the programme correctly by just deleting - or is there something else I needed to do in order to start afresh?

Flo,

If you downloaded it and then *installed* it under Windows, but then deleted all the files manually, then you might need to re-install it, uninstall it, and finally re-install it again.

I don't know if the procedure might be different for Apache on Windows, but that procedure is just the standard Windows recovery routine for improperly-uninstalled programs in general.
