is this good for 1 day or bad?

For a low paying niche - that is an extremely high CTR.

If you are clicking the ads on your site, you had better stop now. Having said that, I find that on some of my sites, my search box yield an average 40% CTR.

That is a pretty high CTR, but not at all unimaginable for a one day shot.

I've seen people having CTR's of 60-70% with no problems, totally legit.

for 497 clicks, $30 is nothing.
If I were you, for that many clicks, I would be expecting income of at least $200

50% clickthru has been known to happen, just be sure that adsense is not your only exit from a page.

You have to give them other ways to leave than just adsense or it will be considered a made for adsense site and could get banned.

sure you can get 50% ctr that is legit, but if you had 50 impressions with 2-5 clicks then the high ctr is understandable..

885 / 497 isn't possible unless you're serving ads with no content..

the only time i get that kind of ctr is at 12:15am when the stats are all delayed

If your ads are targeted enough to get a 50% CTR, then you would be getting more than 5 cents a click. It seems that Google is discounting some of your clicks. Clicks get discounted when they are believed to be invalid clicks. Invalid clicks are what people get banned for.

i've been with adsense for 2 years and never heard of those kinds of clicks for such little impressions..

anyways.. i can guarantee there is some invalid clicking going on there..

While 50% (or higher) CTR is certainly attainable, I am surprised to hear someone with this CTR who is brand new to AdSense.

Hi,

Welcome to WW. Which was changed, the amount earned, the ctr, or the impressions.

I started out at 4 cent clicks and worked up to 9 cent clicks. Volume is what makes it worthwhile.

That is a very believable total earnings though and congrats.
