Transparent Backgrounds for AdSense Ads

this would eliminate the changing background routine for ads

I was wondering if only AdSense had provided transparent background option when creating the code (color palette), because this way we would not have to worry about matching it to the site background. We could paste the code anywhere in the site and voila it matches the site! What do you think?

They use the background color for other purposes.

Making sure of a minimum contrast between text color and background color for one... and likely tracking of color combinations for click-thru analysis as another.

Ads are shown in a separate iframe, so I doubt there's any way to provide transparency without completely rethinking the way they serve ads.

Not to mention people could manipulate the ads if they were allowed to have whatever they wanted as the background. Some creative background imaging could remove the "Ads by Google" or even leave no text visible except the title.
