Why 25? I think you'd have better luck with one 500 page website.
I agree. With 25 sites each having just 20 pages each, You'll find it hard to rank in the search engines for any of them in such a competitive field. IMO you would be much better off building one large site. Just an opinion and I could be wrong, but experience leads me to believe I'm not.
Is there anyone out here running health related websites?
Personally, no, however I do have 100+ web sites all niche widget specific and this strategy works extremely well so long as your sites are not simply repeats of one another.
If you are building 25 sites under the same "corporate" style with a different subject matter for each site then this could work extremely well. By this I mean, for example:
site 1: general health
site 2: cancers
site 3: dentistry etc etc
You can interlink all of your sites without fear, despite what some may say, and you will probably find it much easier to control and also you can experiment with different ideas on each site to see which works best.
For everyone's information questioning this strategy I can tell you that some of my smaller niche sites with only 20 pages or so have the most incredible CTR's, 20%+, and eCPM's, some up to USD90.00+, and the EPC's average much higher than the larger sites even though they are ostensibly all carrying the same ads.
Obviously your biggest problem is going to be optimisation and getting good SE rankings since there are a plethora of health related sites therefore my biggest question would be "Where are you going to find enough unique content to justify good rankings etc for these subjects?"
Good luck!
Don't let it stop there though. After ten months the site has 50 or so pages and averages $40 per day.

I would suggest to go for unique class C IP's for all your sites for best results. This might work surely better. Else you might be able to get a good PR but no good search results.
amanile, Sticky me the theme if you are intersted to know how we promote such group of sites on theme topics.
Interlinking a bunch of sites might not give negative ratings, but surely it wont benifit.
This is an old SEO myth and I'm not going to go into it since I have proven myself correct over 12+ years...if you have unique content on each site then there is absolutely no necessity to have separate C Class IPs.
